The use of essential oils is called aromatherapy. Essential oil is also known as ethereal oil. An essential or ethereal oil is a volatile, liquid and fragrant substance extracted from aromatic plants. It is a product made from a raw material of the same name, by distillation or, in the case of fruit, mechanical pressing.
Aromatherapy focuses on maintaining and promoting health. The waterless, direct, linear and cold diffusion from pure essential oils by the Clean Air Optima® Aroma Diffuser Aromatic™ AD-304B guarantees preservation of the life force of the pure essential oils. This ensures optimal transmission to the human being and will thus contribute to restoring the natural balance in his or her body and creates high therapeutic effects.
For aromatherapy on the AD-304B, only Clean Air Optima® essential oils specially developed for Clean Air Optima® diffusers should be used.

The Clean Air Optima® Aroma Diffuser Aromatic™ AD-304B is made of sturdy and durable material. Is compact and multifunctional, encased in a chic design. Waterless Diffusion Technology
Patented vibration and PZT-Electronic technology based on the piezoelectric effect, resonator, ultrasonic vibrations and a precise essential oil peristaltic-dosing-pump system (i.e. propelling oil by squeezing the pipe) atomises pure essential oil microfine and guarantees preservation of the essential oils' life force.
This direct (waterless) diffusion source creates optimal aromatherapy with high therapeutic effect.
1. Droplet-On-Demand
Essential oils are powerful essences derived from plants, flowers and herbs. The essence of plants, flowers and herbs captured "droplet" is the unit of measurement when using essential oil. The patented Droplet-On-Demand technology in the Clean Air Optima® Aroma Diffuser Aromatic™ AD-304B can transfer the liquid in the required safe manner and precisely control the flow rate (range between 0.1 - 1 ml per hour).
The flow rate of the pump is directly controlled by a small motor, which can run at a very low speed. This mechanism allows users of the Clean Air Optima® Aroma Diffuser Aromatic™ AD-304B to easily adjust the amount of essential oil, just like manual dripping..
Designed for low-speed operation, makes the entire unit compact and maintenance-free.
2. Vibrate-To-Atomize
The droplet size is determined by atomisation, and atomisation is the process by which droplets are generated. This starts by squeezing liquid through a nozzle. The stored energy of the liquid, the shape of the mouthpiece and the tip of the nozzle, cause the liquid to come out as small ligaments. These ligaments then further break apart into very small "pieces" called droplets or fluid particles.
So atomisation is essentially the dropwise disintegration of a liquid as it comes out of an orifice.
Liquid atomisation refers to the process of breaking up bulk liquid into particles by breaking through surface tension. Unlike conventional atomisation approaches, Vibrate-To-Atomize technology relies on an electromechanical device that vibrates at a very high frequency and acts as the energy source of fluid atomisation.
In our patented design, the excited piezoelectric ceramic transducer (PZT) induces vibration at a higher energy than the base state to a resonator connected to a fluid line. The free end of the fluid line functions as a bending-mode concentrator.
3. Emission of mist
When the device operates at a predetermined resonant frequency, the vibration reaches the maximum vibration force and causes the passing liquid to disintegrate into mist at the end of the liquid line.
Simple operation
Easy operation using two push buttons on the top of the aroma atomiser. The POWER button can be used to choose between aromatising with three frequency interval options. The MODUS button can be used to choose between aromatising with four duration options.
Switch on
Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds, the mode indicator flashes until the diffuser starts working.
Switch off
Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds, the mode indicator flashes until the diffuser is switched off.
Mode selectione
Press the power button to select.
Mode 1 is low:
10 seconds atomising, 270 seconds pause, 10 seconds atomising, repeat cycle.

10 seconds atomising, 30 seconds pause, 10 seconds atomising, repeat cycle.

10 seconds atomising, 10 seconds pause, 10 seconds atomising, repeat cycle.

Timer selection
Press the TIMER button to select the timer:
- Atomise for 1 hour, indicator "1H" on
- Atomise for 2 hours, indicator "2H" on
- Atomise for 4 hours, indicator "4H" on
- Atomise for 8 hours, indicator = 3 indicators off
When the time has elapsed, the mode indicator flashes until the diffuser stops.
Safety
The diffuser features a safety switch which automatically switches off the diffuser when the essential oil supply is used up.
Use and maintenance
Cleaning the outside of the diffuser
1. Switch off the diffuser and unplug the power cord
2. Use a soft and damp cloth to clean the diffuser from dust and dirt
3. Make sure no water gets into the diffuser
Disconnect the diffuser from the power source when the diffuser is not in use.
Safe, environmentally friendly and energy-efficient design
The safe, eco-friendly and energy-efficient design of the Clean Air Optima® Aroma Diffuser Aromatic™ AD-304B is made of BPA-free Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). (BPA is a chemical that you might find mixed with other chemicals in the production of plastics such as, for example, the plastic polycarbonate. In the US, the possible effects of BPA on human health has been questioned). The Clean Air Optima® Aroma Diffuser Aromatic™ AD-304B is BPA-free, making it suitable for use by pregnant women and by children, and features a safety switch that automatically switches off the Aromatic™ when the essential oil supply is used up.
Using essential oils
For aromatherapy on the AD-304B, only Clean Air Optima® essential oils specially developed for Clean Air Optima® diffusers should be used.
The use of other essential oils or additives not developed for diffusers/ultrasonic aroma diffusers/aromatherapy humidifiers can lead to damage to the device! Units damaged by such additives are not covered by warranty.
