The Clean Air Optima® 4in1 design air cooler CA-106 Smart provides cooling in the indoor area by means of a powerful air flow and evaporation of (cool) water in the ambient air. This is based on the principle of natural evaporative cooling of ice or cold water added to the water tank to cool warm (indoor) air without the use of chemical refrigerants. Also, the Clean Air Optima® 4in1 design air cooler CA-106 Smart does not require an air outlet hose as with an air conditioner, and is an energy- and cost-saving alternative to an air conditioning system with a consumption of only 65 watts max.
Natural evaporative cooling
You are undoubtedly familiar with this: when you blow on moist skin, you immediately feel a cooling effect as the evaporation process extracts heat. The evaporation process of the CA-106 Smart air cooler is similar: At the back of the air cooler you will find the evaporative filter with its honeycomb structure. The evaporator filter becomes saturated with water when you switch on the air cooler function. Warm air is passed from the back of the air cooler through the wet (cool) evaporative filter and cools by evaporation. The cooled air is then blown into the interior by the low-noise fan.

Air cooler CA-106 Smart: a four-season system
The 4in1 design air cooler CA-106 Smart combines air cooling with air purifying. When you don't need the air cooler function, the air purifier function of the air cooler ensures an optimal indoor climate all year round. With its air purification function, the multifunctional Clean Air Optima® design air cooler and air purifier CA-106 Smart frees indoor air from allergens, mould spores, annoying animal hair, pollen, (fine) dust and odours all year round.
Air purifier with four filter technologies
1. Pre-filter
The pre-filter captures large dust particles such as: lint, hair and pet dander.
2. Evaporative filter
The evaporative filter has a honeycomb structure for intensive air humidification and air purification. The extracted air is cleaned immediately in a natural way, similar to a rainstorm or waterfall, and simultaneously purified of particles down to 10 microns. The particles are collected and bound in the water tank. This frees the air from dust, pollen and particle-bound odours, which can thus no longer be discharged into the indoor air.
3. TRUE HEPA H13 filter with nanosilver coating
The TRUE HEPA filter Purifies 99.97% of all suspended matter as small as 0.3 microns (0.3 µm) from the air. A HEPA filter is the most effective air filter for removing:
• (fine) dust, cigarette smoke, pollen
• allergens
• all other solid particles
The antibacterial layer of the nano silver coating on the filter eliminates bacteria and mould.
4. Ionizer
Capacity > 3,000,000 negative ions / cm³ that are dispersed throughout the room, thus neutralising harmful substances and odours. The ionizer produces negative ions to clean the indoor air and enrich it with active oxygen. This neutralises unpleasant odours and purifies pollutants from the air. Negative ions also have a strong anti-static action.
Intelligent Particle Sensor and digital monitor air purifier
A smart sensor measures and controls the air quality fully automatically. The fan automatically anticipates with 3 speeds the indoor air load of solid particles measured by the sensor.
The 4in1 design air cooler CA-106 Smart provides automatic and precise feedback on the current air quality by measuring, via the digital colour monitor, the PM2.5 level in the indoor area.

Particulate matter is a collective term for air pollution with particles small enough to be inhaled. Particulate matter in the air can have harmful effects on health. In 1999 / 2008, the European Union set limits for particulate matter PM10 and PM2.5 (PM stands for: Particulate Matter: PM10 with a particle size of about 10 micrometres or 10 microns, and PM2.5 with a particle size of about 2.5 micrometres or 2.5 microns).
The main source of particulate matter, especially PM10, in the indoor environment is tobacco smoke. In addition, particulate matter such as PM2.5 comes from the fireplace, baking, frying and vacuuming.
