The energy consumption of air coolers is low, especially when compared to mobile air conditioners. The process of natural water evaporation in Clean Air Optima® air coolers consumes less energy than the operation of a mobile air conditioner.

Fill the water reservoir of the air cooler with water, the cooling elements provided and ice cubes if necessary, and the air cooler will evaporate the cold water into cool air and blow it into the room. Wonderfully refreshing!

For pleasant cooling, simply topping up the water tank is enough to provide a cool breeze to rooms at home such as the living room, home office, bedroom, children's room or in offices - consulting rooms - treatment rooms - showrooms etc. where an air-conditioning system is missing. Air coolers from Clean Air Optima® Ideal for hot and dry indoor climates

The operating principle of an air cooler is based on cooling the indoor air by evaporating cold water. The warm, dry air present in the room is drawn in by the air cooler and passed through the evaporation filter with honeycomb structure. The cooled air is then blown into the interior by the air cooler's low-noise fan.

Cooling effect of an air cooler

In summer, the effectiveness of an air cooler is optimal during hot days with lower humidity and decreases when high temperature and high humidity are combined because the indoor air can absorb little cooling moisture in this situation.

This means that mobile air coolers have the optimum effect in dry, hot conditions and therefore provide pleasant cooling in indoor spaces during dry summer weather. Natural evaporative cooling cools the indoor air while increasing the humidity in the interior. This higher humidity level feels very pleasant and makes prolonged stays in previously dry and warm indoor spaces more comfortable. Conversely, this means that if the outdoor climate is hot, humid and clammy to the touch, the cooling effect of an air cooler will be reduced because the indoor air can absorb very little extra moisture in that situation.

Clean Air Optima® multifunctional air coolers are ideal for humidification in winter against dry heating air and can be used with or without air cleaner function.

In winter in particular, the air in the rooms we heat can become too dry. Because the heating is on for large parts of the day, moisture evaporates from the indoor air, creating dry air. In dry air, dust is more likely to be released and float in the airflow.
